Our Philosophy
About Forever Friends
It is the philosophy of Forever Friends Child Care that early childhood is a time of fun, exploration and discovery. Our focus is to provide a safe, clean, positive and developmentally appropriate atmosphere for infants, toddlers, preschool and school aged children. Our early childhood instructors plan and implement activities that support social, emotional, physical and intellectual development and the growth of each child as a whole. We strive to nurture and encourage a positive self-image, support creativity and allow the children to experience success without pressure. We encourage reciprocal relationships with children and their families as well as active involvement in our community.
With our philosophy and focus in mind, and based on the theory that children learn through play and hands on experiences, our curriculum includes daily activities in mathematical thinking, scientific discovery, language and literacy development, social studies thinking, creative expression and through play activities such as indoor and outdoor games, nature activities, pretend play, finger plays and music. We also encourage multicultural activities and celebrate holidays and birthdays.
